[Minor metal] SMM Survey - Operating Rates at Manganese Firms in Guangxi Province

SHANGHAI, Oct. 12 (SMM) -- Today, a SMM survey of 14 manganese firms in Guangxi Province (total capacity: 240kt/yr) revealed the following insights:

    According to the survey, operating rates at 6 firms remained at 30%-75% in an effort to minimize market risks; 7 firms operated at full capacity given their ample long-term orders; 1 firm shut down for maintenance. In summary, the average operating rate at 14 manganese firms was about 75%.
