






SHANGHAI, Sept. 28 (SMM) -- East China, traded prices were in the RMB 46,400-47,300/mt range in Shanghai region today. Copper prices dipped in the afternoon, exerting negative impact on the purchasing interest, and trading volumes dropped slightly as a result, but overall transactions were brisk. Traded prices were in the RMB 47,100-47,300/mt range in Shandong region. Trading volumes were limited in the afternoon, and the purchasing interest became higher when copper prices went lower, and the trading sentiment was brisk.
South China, traded prices were in the RMB 47,100-47,300/mt range. Market supply was slightly tight, and downstream consumers planed to replenish stocks when prices were lower, so transactions were moderate.
North China, traded prices were RMB 46,900-47,200/mt. Traders became reluctant to move cargos in the afternoon due to plunged copper prices, while downstream inquiries were up, and transactions were general.
