[Minor metal] Domestic Prices for Cobalt Chloride Continue to Slip

iconSep 21, 2009 00:00

SHANGHAI, Sept. 21 (SMM) -- Domestic prices for cobalt chloride inched down to RMB 70,000/mt from previous range of RMB 71,000-72,000/mt.

SMM believes cobalt chloride prices declined due mainly to weak demand and supply surplus in the market. In the mean time, consumers reduced cobalt chloride prices jointly, and a portion of suppliers sold off goods in order to have enough cash to replenish raw material stocks, remaining another two reasons behind falling cobalt chloride prices.
