






SHANGHAI, Sept. 16 (SMM) -- East China, traded prices were in the RMB 48,850-49,050/mt range in Shanghai region today. Offers for parity copper were closed to offers for premium copper, leaving weak transactions, while trading sentiment of premium copper was moderate. Overall transactions were weak compared to previous days. Traded prices were in the RMB 48,900-49,050/mt range in Shandong region. Copper prices moved narrowly, with shortages of upward momentum, and downstream manufacturers reduced purchasing sentiment, resulting in general transactions.
South China, traded prices were in the RMB 48,800-49,000/mt range. Market supply was stable, and the purchasing interest was lackluster, and downstream consumption was sluggish, leaving weak transactions.
North China, traded prices were RMB 48,700-48,900/mt. Market supply was ample, and downstream consumers reduced purchasing volumes after stock replenishment in earlier this week, and the trading sentiment became weak as well.
