






SHANGHAI, Sept. 15 (SMM) -- North China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 44,000-44,300/mt, softened scrap copper prices hampered cargo-holders’ confidence and created their incentives in selling goods. The downstream consumers were active in replenishing stocks, resulting in improved trading sentiment.
East China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 44,200-44,500/mt, cargo-holders remained firm with price offers, while downstream consumers were cautious with regard to market output, leaving low purchasing interest, and transactions were general.
South China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 44,900-45,100/mt, traders reduced offers slightly, but transactions remained weak in light of high wait-and-see sentiment among buyers.
