[Ni] SMM Morning Review - 2009/9/15 Nickel Market

SHANGHAI, Sept. 15 (SMM) -- Yesterday, LME three-month contract nickel prices opened at USD 16,850/mt, and later slipped rapidly to USD 16,426/mt. LME nickel prices have ever hit the lowest level of USD 16,288/mt when fluctuating around USD 16,500/mt, and closed at USD 16,650/mt.

    Yesterday, USD 16,500/mt became the support level for three-month contract nickel prices, and LME nickel prices will move smoothly without the release of any major economic data today. LME nickel prices will inch down to the range of USD 16,100-16,850/mt today due to weak actual demand.
