






SHANGHAI, Sept. 14 (SMM) -- East China, traded prices were in the RMB 47,700-47,900/mt range in Shanghai region today. Copper prices fluctuated at low levels in the afternoon, stimulating downstream purchasing interest, but the wait-and-see sentiment remained high. Traded prices were in the RMB 47,750-47,900/mt range in Shandong region. Copper prices slipped, generating downstream buying interest, but a number of suppliers were unwilling to move goods, leaving general transactions.
South China, traded prices were in the RMB 47,650-47,900/mt range. As SHFE copper prices plummeted, downstream manufacturers stood on sidelines from lack of confidence in future prices, leading to slim trading sentiment.
North China, traded prices were RMB 47,650-47,800/mt. The lower prices stimulated the downstream purchasing interest, especially in Tianjin city, and overall transactions improved.
