Ashele Copper Mine Produces Copper Concentrates of 100,700 T Jan.-Aug.

BEIJING, Sept. 11 -- The Ashele Copper Mine in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region produced 100,700 tons of copper concentrate, 9,800 tons of zinc concentrate, 19,000 tons of copper, and 4,300 tons of zinc from January to August of this year.

    Meanwhile, the company achieved an output value of 532 million yuan in the period, 39.3 percent or 353 million yuan less than that of the same period last year.

    Zijin Mining has gained a controlling stake in Ashele Copper Mine, which has proven copper deposits of 919,400 tons and 408,300 tons of zinc.
