SHANGHAI, Sept. 8 (SMM) -- North China, today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 44,800-45,000/mt, the rainy weather hampered the cargo movement, and most market players were still optimistic about future prices, so transactions were limited.
East China, today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 44,800-45,100/mt, traders were reluctant to sell goods, while downstream manufacturers were pessimistic about future prices, resulting in lackluster trading activity.
South China, today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 45,900-46,100/mt, buyers were cautious about purchases given uncertain copper prices, and traders also stood on sidelines. In the mean time, downstream consumers purchased based on production needs, so transactions were weak.
