






SHANGHAI, Sept. 7 (SMM) -- East China, traded prices for spot copper were in the RMB 49,400-49,700/mt range in Shanghai region today. Copper prices moved upward in the afternoon, and downstream consumers purchased based on production needs, so transactions remained stable. Traded prices for spot copper were in the RMB 49,400-49,600/mt range in Shandong region. Copper prices remained high, while downstream purchasing interest waned, so trading sentiment was weak.
South China, traded prices were in the RMB 49,400-49,700mt range for spot copper. Bothe weak downstream demand and low purchasing interest hampered cargo movement.
North China, traded prices were RMB 49,300-49,550/mt for spot copper. Buyers were cautious about purchases, with deals mainly made at lower prices, leaving slim trading sentiment.
