[Minor metal] Refined Manganese Price Growth Slows

SHANGHAI, Sept. 2 (SMM) -- Today, mainstream offers were RMB 14,200-14,300/mt for refined manganese, unchanged from yesterday levels.

Recently, purchases from downstream steel mills increased, but overall demand remained weak. Traders were cautious about purchases due to fluctuations in refined manganese prices, so the wait-and-see sentiment still prevailed among market players.

SMM believes refined manganese prices will likely move in the RMB 14,300-14,500/mt range, and any upward movement for refined manganese will depend on the recovery of market demand.
