






SHANGHAI, Aug. 11 (SMM) -- LME copper prices dipped negatively affected by strengthened US dollar and dropping US stocks and market players were waiting for the upcoming China’s import and export data today. LME three-month copper contract prices closed at USD 6,080/mt, down USD 45/mt. LME copper inventories ended several-day growth and decreased by 850mt, bringing total inventories to 291,275mt. SHFE copper prices will likely fluctuate slightly today and special attentions should focus on China’s import and export data.
