






SHANGHAI, Aug. 10 (SMM) -- East China, traded prices for spot copper were in the RMB 48,250-48,500/mt range in Shanghai region today, copper prices remained high, and market players held very different views on copper price trend, but they operated cautiously, resulting in stable market transactions. Traded prices for spot copper were in the RMB 48,300-48,500/mt range in Shandong region. Copper prices remained high, and downstream purchasing interest was low, leading to general market transactions.
South China, traded prices were in the RMB 48,250-48,400/mt range for spot copper. Market supply was limited, and downstream purchasing interest was relatively low. However, the purchasing sentiment of some speculators was moderate.
North China, traded prices were RMB 48,100-48,300/mt for spot copper. The higher prices reached RMB 48,500/mt in Northeast China, but trading sentiment was lukewarm. Any upward room for copper prices was limited due to the scarcity of purchasing interest, and transactions were weak.
