






BEIJING, Aug. 7 -- China's large nonferrous enterprises each with annual sales incomes above RMB 5 million together recorded a total profit of RMB 9.42 million in the first five months of this year, fallen 81.8% YoY.
The following table shows the profits and losses realized by nonferrous enterprises in the first five months of this year, constructed using Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) statistics.

The top 15 lead and zinc enterprise members of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association realized an aggregate profit of RMB 719 million in the first half of this year, down 74.1% YoY. Later on in the year, June's profits amounted to RMB 440 million.
In the first half, China produced 146.51 mt of gold, up 17.42 mt, or 13.49% YoY, while profits resulting from the production decreased 15.75% to RMB 5.57 billion.
