






SHANGHAI, Aug. 5 (SMM) -- LME copper prices moved up again after slight corrections propelled by positive US existing home sales and short-covering. LME copper three-month contract prices closed at USD 6,100/mt, up USD 25/mt. LME copper inventories increased by 3,775mt, bringing total inventories to 285,900mt. LME copper prices soared above RMB 6,000/mt again, and technical support and positive news are expected to push up copper prices to a new high.
