SHANGHAI, July 30 (SMM) -- North China today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 39,600-39,900/mt, cargo-holders were firm in their offers due to previous large volumes of delivery, while downstream buyers had no interest in purchasing, so transactions were weak.
East China today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 39,700-40,000/mt, consumers were concerned about market outlook due to significant declines in copper prices, resulting in low buying interest and sluggish trading sentiment.
South China today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 40,000-40,200/mt, traders were reluctant to sell goods, leading to limited market supply. The downstream producers focused on the consumption of their existing inventories, so market transactions were weak.
