BEIJING, July 22 -- China's refined copper imports hit an all-time record for a fifth straight month in June, reaching 378,943 tonnes, data from the General Administration of Customs showed on Wednesday.
Nickel imports also hit a record of 41,008 tonnes in June, up from May's record 25,032 tonnes.
China, the world's top consumer of many base metals, imported 267,861 tonnes of primary aluminium in June, up from May's 259,095 tonnes.
