[Zn] Domestic Output of Zinc Concentrate Kept Rapid Growth in June
SHANGHAI, July 17 (CBI China) -- According to the latest data from National Bureau of Statistics, China’s output of zinc concentrate was 317.5kt during June, up 25.6% MoM. Cumulative output of zinc concentrate in 1H was 1.275 million mt, down 11.3% YoY. Output of zinc concentrate continues to grow by over 20% MoM, signaling current production level of zinc concentrate has improved gradually.
TC/RC of domestic zinc concentrate with grade of 48-53% was RMB 4,600-5,800/mt in July, while TC of imported zinc concentrate remained in the USD 130-150/mt range. TC/RC reported no marked changes during the first half of July, and overall production remained unchanged as well. Hence, domestic output of zinc concentrate will grow at a slower pace during July.
