SHANGHAI, July 14 (CBI China) -- Jinchuan Group raised the offer for cobalt oxide (II, III) to RMB 250/kg from previous level of RMB 240/kg. Other domestic cobalt oxide (II, III) producers lifted ex-works prices to RMB 250-255/kg as well.
CBI believes increases in domestic traded prices for cobalt oxide (II, III) will depend on the end-user demand. Sources report that current demand for lithium cobalt oxide was stable, but its prices lacked upward momentum due to shortages of support from strong demand.
