SHANGHAI, July 7 (CBI China) -- Refined manganese prices were stable in domestic market, and price differences were very small in all regional markets. Most of factories reported better sales, and today the ex-works prices for refined manganese rose by RMB 100/mt to RMB 12,900/mt.

Most of factories have operated at full capacity in Chongqing region, with no inventories and ample orders during this week.

A factory in Xiushan region said almost all the factories in Xiushan region maintained normal production currently, and they all showed acceptance to current prices and their demand improved a lot compared to last month as well.

According to CBI sources, except of select production lines shut down for maintenance, operating rates at large factories in Xiushan region have reached 80%. Recently, limited inventory pressure helped factories to keep their price offers firm, and ex-works prices for refined manganese will likely fluctuate in the RMB 12,800-13,200/mt range.
