[Minor metal] Domestic Selenium Market Remains Stable

iconJul 1, 2009 00:00

SHANGHAI, July 1 (CBI China) -- Domestic selenium market operated smoothly. Selenium powder was mainly traded in the RMB 370-400/kg range, and selenium dioxide was mainly traded around RMB 275/kg.

Sources report that overseas suppliers raised their offers, but domestic selenium market remained in balance, and domestic demand was still weak, so selenium prices remained stable as well. Domestic demand for selenium dioxide remained stable with a sign of rise, but the price was stable around RMB 275/kg given ample spot supply.

CBI believes the rising price of imported selenium will exert positive impact on selenium market.
