[Cu] CBI Morning Review - 2009/6/30 Copper Market

SHANGHAI, June 30 (CBI China) -- The rebounding crude oil price stimulated the copper price to rise, and the surrounding market conditions remained a major factor for copper price trend recently. LME three-month contract copper price closed at USD 5,105/mt, up USD 50/mt. LME copper inventories declined by 2,950mt, bringing total inventories to 267,300mt. SHFE copper price tracked rising LME copper price, the spot consumption showed a cautious performance. The market was waiting for a further direction in price outlook.
