[Cu] Summary - 2009/6/26 Scrap Copper Market
SHANGHAI, June 26 (CBI China) -- North China today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 37,500-37,800/mt, the sales of copper rod were good, and copper rod producers purchased scrap copper based on production needs, meanwhile market supply was tight, so transactions were good as well.
East China today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 37,200-37,500/mt, the market supply was tight, and the downstream buying interest was low, leading to weak transactions.
South China today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 38,000-38,200/mt, the cargo-holders were still firm with their offers, but the buying interest remained low, so transactions were sluggish.
