[Cu] CBI Morning Review - 2009/6/26 Copper Market

SHANGHAI, June 26 (CBI China) -- The US dollar stabilized, and the stock markets were mixed, so LME copper price continued to rise propelled by speculative buying activities. LME three-month contract copper price closed at USD 5,105/mt, up USD 105/mt. LME inventories declined by 3,450mt, bring total inventories to 271,600mt. SHFE copper price soared following LME copper price trend, but the buyers were cautious in the spot market, and copper price is expected to rise further today, may stimulating the recovery of buying interest.
