China Unwrought Manganese Exports Drop 61% in 5 Months

BEIJING, June 19 -- The latest statistics published by the General Administration of Customs showed China's unwrought manganese exports over January-May fell 60.9%YoY to 37,737 tonnes.

    The value of the exports in the five-month period dropped 72.1%YoY to about USD 90.9 million.

    China's unwrought manganese exports in May alone were 4,843 tonnes down by 47% from April 9th 154 tonnes.

    Exports of unwrought antimony and its waste and scrap over January to May were 1,656 tonnes down by 60.5%YoY. Their value was about USD 6.5 million down by 69.5%YoY from the same period last year.

    Exports in May alone were 623 tonnes spiking 345% compared with 140 tonnes in April.
