iconJun 18, 2009 00:00

SHANGHAI, June 18 (CBI China) -- Last night, metal prices climbed slightly with the support from substantial declines in US dollar. However, the copper and nickel positions experienced significant declines, indicating the re-entrance of previous speculative funds in the market. As domestic low demand period for metals will start in the coming two months, nickel price will likely fall after previous surges, with the price of USD 13,500/mt as the first important price level in downward track.
