BEIJING, May 15 -- National Bureau of Statistics reported China has churned out 338,300 mt of copper in April up by 6% MoM and 2.9% YoY. It is also the second highest monthly output in China, just after 357,700 mt in October 2007.
Statistics shows that the total copper production reaches 1.26 million mt in the first four months up by 6.7% YoY. At the beginning of this year, China's copper enterprises slowed down production, but driven by rising copper price and demand for raw materials, they increased yield again.
