SHANGHAI, May 14 (CBI China) -- Overnight LME copper price slumped, and the US consumption was weak. Today, SHFE copper price moved in the low level, with the total position down 3,598 lots. Chinese copper demand slowed recently, while SHFE inventories continued to increase. The spot premium edged down, eroding the support for copper price, so copper price met downward pressure.
