[Cu] Summary - 2009/5/7 Scrap Copper Market
SHANGHAI, May 7 (CBI China) -- North China today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 36,800-37,100/mt, the low interest in purchase of downstream producers caused the limited upward room for scrap copper price, and the transactions were weary.
East China today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 36,800-37,000/mt, the buying sentiment of downstream producers were moderate, and the cargo-holders were reluctant to move goods, so the transactions were neutral.
South China today 1# bright copper was traded at RMB 37,400-37,600/mt, the cargo-holders were eager to sell goods, but the downstream producers refused the high offer, so the transactions were weak.
