[Cu] CBI Morning Review - 2009/5/4 Copper Market

SHANGHAI, May 4 (CBI China) -- LME copper price continued to rise for several straight days during Labor Day holiday due to decreasing inventories and increasing cancelled warrants. LME three-month copper price closed at USD 4,620/mt, up USD 160/mt. LME inventories declined by 7,075mt to 398,700mt. SHFE copper price tracked LME copper price trend and will meet a round of strong upward momentum before mid-May.
