West China Largest Steel Marketing Centre Starts Construction

BEIJING, Apr. 30 -- It is reported that the largest steel marketing centre in west China has started construction in Chengdu, Sichuan province. The project, with the total investment of RMB 0.5 billion takes a building area of 47,000 square meters.

    The steel marketing centre, functioned as eight centers, like net information centre, steel products distributing centre, project bidding centre, spot goods sale centre, E-trading centre, financial centre etc, is going to finish the construction by 2010. As predicted, the number of stationed enterprises will account for more than 500, with RMB 10 billion of yearly trading volume and RMB 80 million of tax at that time.
