[Minor metal] Price of Domestic Selenium Dioxide Rise

iconApr 28, 2009 00:00

SHANGHAI, Apr. 28 (CBI China) -- Selenium dioxide supply was tight in domestic market, lifting the price to RMB 290-310/kg from last week’s level of RMB 260-280/kg.

Sources report that major domestic selenium dioxide suppliers had no spot goods currently, so the quotations remained unknown. As the leading large suppliers have not delivered guidance price jet, so the market prices were mixed, posting the unwillingness of traders with limited spot goods to sell and propelling the price to rise further. The prices were around RMB 300/kg.

CBI believes although refined manganese prices fell, the tightness of selenium dioxide supply will still leave upward momentum to the prices of selenium dioxide.
