Fujian Desheng Starts Nickel Project in Luoyuan

FUZHOU, Apr. 28 -- It is reported that Fujian Desheng Nickel Industry Co Ltd is reported to finish the first phase of its nickel project in Luoyuan, Fujian.

    In the first phase, the company spent RMB 2.5 billion importing technologies in GOR convertor and nickel alloy lines from Ukraine National Titanium Designing lnstitute which fulfilled the blanket of producing nickel alloy in Fujian.

    As learned, the project is planed to realize annual production value of over RMB 30 billion by yielding over 2 million tonnes of stainless steel and 2 million tonnes of nickel alloy per year.

    Near the building place of the nickel project, over USD 100 million invested Yixin Steel project had been put into operation, and already realized production value of RMB 2.24 billion in 2008.

    It's still in Luoyuan that Fujian Yuxing Industry Co Ltd started production in its newly found RMB 1.57 billion quality coated plate processing plant in end 2008, whose sales revenue will amount to RMB 5.1 billion. In addition, Fujian Sanxing Steel eyed the trial production of its 1st high speed wire rod line recently.

    The line belongs to the mill's special steel project in Luoyuan which will create yearly production value of RMB 2 billion.
