SHANGHAI, Apr. 15 (CBI China) -- Sources report that the government was considering lifting the rebates to help domestic refined cobalt and cobalt salt weather the depressed economic conditions. On April 14th, the state relevant ministries and commissions and the industry insiders held a meeting to discuss how to help cobalt producers out of difficulties. The details were not disclosed in the meeting. However, most of industry insiders believe more possibility will exist in lifting rebates of cobalt salt and cobalt than introducing national cobalt reserve program.
