[Minor metal] Domestic Refined Cobalt Price Falls Slightly
SHANGHAI, Apr. 14 (CBI China) -- Domestic refined cobalt prices fell slightly, with the traded price in the RMB 300,000-320,000/mt range.
It is said as the imported refined cobalt arrived at the port gradually, leading to obvious supply surplus in domestic market, the price of refined cobalt met downward pressure and fell to the range of RMB 300,000-320,000/mt.
It is reported that the supply of refined cobalt from Jinchuan group was limited in the market, and no news about Jinchuan Group to lower the price appeared in the market.
CBI believes a batch of imported refined cobalt will arrive at the port by the end of this month, with the cost price around RMB 270,000/mt. Hence, the price of domestic refined cobalt will continue to fall in the foreseeable future.
