SHANGHAI, Apr. 9 (CBI China) -- The U.S. stock rebound stimulated the copper price to rise, but then copper price fell due to increases once again in the inventories. Three-month LME copper closed at USD 4,340/mt, down USD 39/mt. LME copper inventories increased by 2,300mt to 504,200mt. The domestic spot premium rose, but the downstream producers were cautious about the high premium and the purchase, leading to limited transactions. Another round of rebounds is expected to appear in the copper price after the adjustments.
