






MOSCOW, Dec 13, 2010 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- Kazakhstan produced 1.71 million metric tons of primary aluminum in the first 11 months of the year, 8.1% more than in the corresponding period last year, the state statistics agency said Monday.
Refined copper output during the period increased 3.6% to 299,190 tons while raw zinc output fell 3.3% to 291,764 tons.
Kazakhstan's bauxite output in the first 11 months of the year increased 3.6% compared with January-November 2009 to 4.88 million tons.
Kazakhstan also produced 27.152 tons of un-refined and semi-refined gold in the period, up 31.1% on the year. Production of un-refined and semi-refined silver fell 14.3% on the year to 500,008 tons.
