Russia May Raise Nickel Export Tax, Set Copper Duty at 10% From November

Sep 16 (Bloomberg)--

Russia’s Economy Ministry proposed raising the export duty on nickel and imposing a tax on copper starting from November.

The export duties on the metals may be set at 10 percent, the ministry’s press service said today by phone, citing the proposal sent to the government.
