Yuyuan Company's 60 kt/yr Crude Lead Electrolysis Technical Improvement Project Gets Approved

SHANGHAI, August 5 (SMM) - Yuyuan Company's 60 kt/yr technical improvement project for its crude lead electrolysis has passed tests conducted on July 20th by relevant departments and the attended experts in the aspects of production technology, safety, environment protection, fire-fighting construction, and so on. 
 
The approval of the project signals that the project is going to start formal production from pilot one, which will make this company the first to combine natural gas with sintering machine for production. This project began construction in September 2007, and entered pilot production in May 2009. So far, the completed investment for the project has reached RMB 175 million, of which over RMB 60 million was for environment protection equipments. After being commissioned, the project is expected to achieve an annual production value of RMB 1 billion, and with profit and tax at RMB 60 million, and 500 job opportunities will be created.

The approval of this project and enhancement of environment protection equipments will provide solid support for stable supply of the company's products, and also stabilize supply in domestic crude lead market.                  ,
