India's Hindalco Unit to Set up Alumina Refinery

MUMBAI, Aug. 3 -- Top Indian aluminium maker Hindalco Industries (HALC.BO: Quote) said on Tuesday one of its units is setting up a 1.5 mtpa alumina refinery in the eastern state of Orissa.

The project will feed the Mahan and Aditya smelters currently under construction, the company said in a statement.
