JAKARTA Aug 2 (Reuters) - Up to 300 workers at PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (NNT), an Indonesian unit of Newmont Mining Corp (NEM.N), have gone on strike over pay for overtime but production has not been affected, a company spokesman said on Monday.

Kasman Mulyono said about 200-300 workers from various production units started their strike on Monday morning.

"Production is running normally," Mulyono told Reuters.

NNT operates the Batu Hijau copper and gold mine on Sumbawa island, in eastern Indonesia.
