China Imports and Exports of Copper and Aluminum in June

SHANGHAI, July 12 -- According to the preliminary data from General Administration of Customs on July 9th, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 328,231 mt during June, with YTD imports of 2,231,958 mt, down 0.2% YoY; China's imports of scrap copper were 350 kt during June, with YTD imports of 2.03 million mt, up 16.9% YoY.

China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 74,582 mt in June, with YTD imports of 519,595 mt, down 62.6% YoY; alumina imports were 140 kt during June, with YTD imports of 2.35 million mt, down 12.3% YoY; China's imports of scrap aluminum were 220 kt during June, with YTD imports of 1.38 million mt, up 58.9% YoY. China's exports of unwrought aluminum were 70,409 mt, with YTD exports of 350,327 mt, up 367.5% YoY.
