5% Export Rebate Tax Removed for Manganese Products from 15 July

SHANGHAI, Jun. 23 (SMM) -- There are two types of manganese products. Unwrought manganese wit HS code 8111001000, namely 99.7% manganese flake, had experienced export rebate tax remove since August 1st 2008, while was levied with 15% export tariff from 1st December, 2006 and  was levied with 20% export tariff from January 1st, 2008. However, wrought manganese with HS code 8111009000, namely manganese flake with 97% Mn and 2% Si, has always enjoyed 5% export rebate tax. Such export rebate tax will be ended as of 15th July.
