BEIJING, Jun 22, 2010 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- China will end an export rebate tax on a variety of commodities, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement Tuesday.
The products include some kinds of steel, nonferrous metals, rubber and rubber products as well as powdered silver.
Of the steel products, the export tax rebate would be ended on hot- and cold-rolled steel as well as plate products. These steel products currently enjoy a 9% export tax rebate.
Among nonferrous metals, some copper, lead and zinc products are among those that will no longer be eligible for the rebate.
