South Korea Tenders to Buy 6,000 Tons of Aluminum Ingots

SEOUL, June 18 -- South Korea, Asia's third-biggest buyer of base metals, issued a tender to buy 6,000 metric tons of high-grade primary aluminum, according to notices on the website of a state agency.

The Public Procurement Service, which stockpiles strategic commodities, is seeking offers from suppliers by June 24, the agency said. Shipment is due in July and August, it said.
