34.8% Operating Rates at EMM Producers at Tongren in Guizhou Province
SHANGHAI, Jun. 17 (SMM) -- SMM conducted a survey of operating rates at 13 EMM producers with total capacity of 173,000 mt/yr at Songren region in Guizhou province, and the surveyed producers covered 60% capacity at Tongren region in Guizhou province. According to the results of the survey, operating rates at that region were only 34.8% as most EMM producers had already halted production, which is due to the fact that the sluggish market condition and the possible higher electricity prices may push cost at EMM producers higher than costs.
