






BHUBANESWAR India, June 10 -- India's state-run NALCO (NALU.BO: Quote) has sold 9,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots to a Swiss firm at a premium of $88.10 per tonne, including cost and freight over the average LME cash price, a company source said on Wednesday.
The National Aluminium Co Ltd will supply the metal in six cargoes of 1,500 tonnes each to Metcom International between June and November, said the official who has direct knowledge of the contract but could not be named due to company policy.
NALCO, the tenders of which serve as an international benchmark, last month sold 10,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots to the same company, at a premium of $85.10 per tonne over the LME cash price on a cost, insurance and freight basis.
