Russia Jan-April Nickel Exports -1.25% On Year At 72,100 Tons

MOSCOW, Jun. 9 -- Russia exported 72,100 metric tons of nickel in January-April, a fall of 1.25% on the year, when 73,000 tons was exported, the federal customs service reports Wednesday.

The exported nickel was worth $1.52 billion, compared with $764.6 million a year ago.

Practically all the nickel was exported to countries outside the CIS.
