June 9 (Bloomberg) -- The two biggest unions at KGHM Polska Miedz SA, Poland’s state-owned copper producer, are threatening a strike vote, Parkiet reported, citing Ryszard Zbrzyzny, who heads the ZZPPM union.

ZZPPM joined the Solidarity union in demanding pay rises and a jobs guarantee in the event of the government cutting its shareholding in the company, the newspaper said. The two unions have a total of more than 10,000 members among KGHM’s 18,000 employees.
