China Apr Copper Concentrate Imports 606,091 Tons, +17% On Year
SHANGHAI, May 21, 2010 (Dow Jones Commodities News Select via Comtex) -- China's copper concentrate imports in April rose 17% from a year earlier to 606,091 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Friday.
The country's imports of copper concentrate increased 12% from March, when 540,774 tons were imported.
During the January-April period, the world's largest copper consumer brought in 2.3 million tons of copper concentrate, up 20% from a year earlier.
